Pupil Premium The Pupil Premium is funding provided to schools which is additional to main school funding. It is allocated according to the number of pupils on-roll who are eligible for free school meals (FSM) and a smaller amount allocated according to the number of children of service families. Pupil Premium Plus funding is allocated for pupils who are looked after by the local authority or who have been been adopted from care or have left care. The funding is extended to include pupils who have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the past 6 years.
